Flash Monday: October Wraps
Description:
Create festive fall décor with October Wraps, part of a collection of twelve seasonal pillow wraps designed to give one pillow a fresh new look throughout the year!
In this Flash Monday class, students will create a reusable pillow cover and seasonal wrap that can be changed as the seasons and holidays come and go. Simply swap the decorative wrap to create an entirely new look—an easy and fun way to add handmade seasonal décor to your home without making or storing twelve different pillows.
During class, students will also receive instructor-provided pattern adjustments and construction details that are not included in the original pattern. These helpful modifications will guide you through the project and are exclusive to registered class participants.
Limited kits will be available for purchase for students who would like an easy way to gather the fabrics needed for their October Wraps project.
The goal of our Flash Monday classes is to create an entire project from start to finish, so you can head home with a finished project and techniques you can use again.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to construct a reusable pillow cover and interchangeable seasonal wrap
- Appliqué techniques used to create the October design
- Helpful construction methods and pattern adjustments provided by the instructor
- How to use the same basic concept to create seasonal décor throughout the year
Supply List:
A minimum of 4 students is required for this class to be held. Once the minimum enrollment has been met, registered students will receive the class supply list so they can purchase supplies and complete any required class prep.
Class Prep:
Most of our classes include some class prep completed at home before class. To make the most out of your experience, we appreciate if you come ready so we can jump right into sewing together.
