How do I register for classes and events?
Class registration is completed by phone or in person.
How many people are in each class or event?
Class and event sizes are currently limited to 10 people to ensure social distancing. Masks are required.

What changes have you made to help keep customers safe during Covid?
To ensure health and safety during COVID19, all customers and employees over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask when shopping at Affinity for Quilts.
Plexiglass has been installed at registers to ensure safety for our customers and staff.

Sewing Machine Service
Do you have onsite sewing machine repair?
Yes, Jordan is on site to assist you with all of your machine needs. He can be reached at 612-275-3356 to make an appointment. He is currently offering curbside pickup and delivery.
Do you sell sewing machines?
Sewing machines are not sold at Affinity For Quilts currently.
How soon will my order ship or be prepared for pickup when I order online?
All orders will be shipped on the same day as your order is placed or the next business day following your order placement. If for some unexpected reason, we are unable to ship your order out within the stated timeframe we will notify you by email or phone.
What shipping service do you use?
Affinity For Quilts uses USPS priority mail as the standard shipping method. We offer a first class mail option at checkout for patterns and other notions. The cost to our customers for standard shipping (priority mail) is as follows:
$00.01-$20.00 and shipping is $8.00
$20.01-$75.00 and shipping is $10.00
$75.00-$125.00 and shipping is $15.00
$125.01 and above shipping is free
The cost of first class shipments is determined by the weight of the items.
Is there a processing fee if I order online and select in store pick up as my delivery method?
There is no shipping or additional cost when requesting local pickup for your online order. A notification will be sent to you when your order is ready for pickup.
Unexpected Shop Closure
Do you close your physical shop due to weather?
On occasion, Affinity For Quilts will close due to weather. Changes to hours at will be communicated as follows:
- Notification will be posted on FaceBook.
- An e-mail will be sent to everyone who is a current subscriber to our newsletter.
- The "Calendar" on our website will be updated to reflect the closure.
- If you're just not sure, please call before heading out.
How do I use your website?
There are several ways to shop online at Affinity For Quilts. Use the search bar to shop by manufacturer, fabric line, fabric line name or item name. If you are unsure of the complete name of a fabric line, you can enter a word or two and the fabric will be displayed if we have it in our online shop.
If you'd like to shop by group use the drop down menu or icons to shop by the following: basics, batiks, childrens, cotton linen blend, cuddle, fabric panels, flannels, floral, kits, notions, novelty, patterns, precuts, Quilt Minnesota 2021, seasonal, or 108" wide.
