Shipping Locations
Affinity For Quilts, Inc. currently ships within the United States and Canada.
Please note that free shipping promotions apply only to orders shipped within the United States.
Order Processing Times
Orders are processed on the next business day Monday through Thursday.
Orders placed Friday through Sunday will ship on Monday.
Exceptions may occur due to:

USPS service interruptions or weather-related closures

Inventory discrepancies

High-demand preorder releases
If any delay affects your order, our team will personally contact you.
Preorder items, including Quilt Minnesota fabrics, are typically shipped the business day prior to the official release date whenever possible.
Shipping Methods
All orders are shipped through USPS using Priority Mail Flat Rate services whenever applicable.
Tracking information is automatically provided via email once your order ships.
All shipments include insurance coverage.
Signature confirmation is not required unless specifically requested by the customer.
Shipping Rates
Affinity For Quilts offers flat-rate shipping on eligible orders.
Free standard shipping is available on U.S. orders over $125.00 before taxes and discounts.
Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
Canadian Orders & Customs Fees
Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by Canadian customs authorities.
These fees are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer.
Affinity For Quilts, Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
If a package is refused by the recipient due to customs fees or import charges:
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Return shipping fees and customs-related charges may be deducted from any eligible refund
In-Store Pickup
Free in-store pickup is available at our White Bear Lake, Minnesota location.
Customers will be notified when their order is ready for pickup. Reminder phone calls may be made approximately every 14 days for orders awaiting pickup.
Paid pickup orders may be held indefinitely unless other arrangements are requested.
Fabric & Product Information
Fabric will be cut in one continuous piece whenever possible.
Please note that actual fabric colors may vary slightly due to monitor and screen settings.
Once fabric has been cut, orders cannot be canceled or modified.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If a package is lost or significantly delayed, Affinity For Quilts will work directly with USPS to resolve the issue.
If the package is not located within 14 days:

An insurance claim will be filed

A replacement order will be shipped immediately when inventory is available
If replacement inventory is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us promptly.
Damaged merchandise must be returned to Affinity For Quilts at our expense before replacement product is issued.
Once the damaged item is received:

A replacement will be shipped if inventory is available

If the item is no longer available, a refund will be issued minus original shipping charges
Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.
Shopify and USPS address verification tools may suggest corrections, and Affinity For Quilts may update addresses to match verified USPS recommendations when appropriate.
Affinity For Quilts is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address:

Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment

Refunds will exclude original shipping charges
Out-of-Stock Items & Preorders
Affinity For Quilts does not maintain backorders.
If an item becomes unavailable after purchase:

Customers will be contacted directly

Refunds will be issued upon request
Preorders are currently limited to select Quilt Minnesota fabric collections.
Combined Orders
Orders placed within the same 24-hour period may be combined whenever possible.
If combined shipping reduces postage costs, excess shipping charges from the second order may be refunded according to our shipping policy.
