Quilt Minnesota samples, new fabrics & the tip of the week!

It is really hard to believe that the Quilt MN Shop Hop is only a month away.   The samples are beginning to come together and this week we have a few to share with you.  This is only the beginning, there are many more samples to come.  

Get ready to entertain this fall and winter! The Wire Framed Pot-luck Tote from Fat Quarter Gypsy made in Quilt Minnesota fabrics is perfect for serving your fresh baked goodness.  Plus, it looks great on your table.    Who can resist fresh baked goodies?  
Why use paper napkins when you can make your own?  Natalie's Napkins from Atkinson Designs is an all time favorite here at Affinity For Quilts and we love them in the Quilt Minnesota fabric line.
Buckingham from the Tabletastic 2 pattern book by Doug Leko is so versatile.  Use it as a topper for your table or decorate your walls by using it as a wall-hanging.  Buckingham measures 24" x 24" and looks great in the Quilt Minnesota fabrics!
Whirlaway from Villa Rosa Designs is a Fat Quarter friendly quilt pattern that measures 54" x 72".  We all know that nothing is better on a cold  Minnesota winter night than curling up underneath a nice warm quilt.  

We also have a couple of quilt samples that are not made from Quilt Minnesota fabric line that we would like to share with you!

The Zany Zasu quilt features the Coco Chic fabric collection from QT Fabrics.  Both the pattern and fabric line were designed by Minnesota's very own Reed Johnson of Blue Bear Quilts.  The quilt measures 60" x 60" and kits are available for $89.99.  The kit includes the pattern and fabric for the quilt top and binding.  
OK cat lovers, this one is for you!   Literary Kitties features the fabric collection by the same name from QT Fabrics.  The quilt measures 73" x 54" and kits are available for $89.99.  The kit includes the quilt pattern and fabric for the quilt top and binding.  
Fabric Fun!

The Ruby Star Speckled line from Moda has always been one of our favorite blenders.  Now we have a few select colors in 108" wide-back.  These are perfect to back any quilt you are working on.  
Robert Kaufman brings us the Wishwell: Silverstone collection by Vanessa Lillrose and Linda Fitch.  These beautiful marble prints have just a hint of metallic and are really fun!
