New Kits, fabrics and tips!

Our sample makers have been busy and we have some new Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop samples to share with you this week.

Protect your glasses with this fashionable Eye Spy Case by Stitchin Sisters.  Prefect for your sunglasses, reading glasses, or eyeglasses.
Do you want a quick and easy table-runner for yourself, or for a gift.  Just A Dash from Pieced Tree Patterns is the perfect project for you!
This is the Ultimate Shop Hop bag designed by Jami Young.  This bag has everything a shop-hopper could ever want in a bag.  Special pockets on the front holds your Shop Hop Flyer and Passport.  The interior of the bag has special pockets for patterns, or books.  There are also several other pockets to help keep other items organized, such as your cell phone, car keys, wallet, etc.  The best part about this bag is that it has plenty of room for all your purchases.
When we first saw the sled panel from the Quilt Minnesota fabric line we were not sure what we would create with it.   One of our employees came up with the perfect pattern for this panel; the One Block Wonder Panel Quilts by Maxine Rosenthal and Nancy Miller.   The final finishes are being completed on this project and we are hoping to have it in the shop by the end of the week.
You will love the new fabrics that have arrived!  Pen and Ink was designed by Studio RK for Robert Kaufman.  This collection features your classic black and whites.  These fabrics are great on their own or to accent any quilting project.
It has arrived!!!  Many of you stopped in last week asking about the Moda's Dance In Paris line by Zen Chic.  I am happy to share that the line has arrived and is now on the floor.  The large-scale modern and abstract flower prints are accompanied by a mid-scale print of playful watercolor dots, some geometric prints and small-scale blenders. These chic, elegant fabrics will be perfect for quilts and will inspire so many other unique and stylish projects.

Tip of the Week

Affinity For Quilts Tip of the Week:  When cutting several blocks at one time keep track of them by placing the block pieces for each block on their own paper plate.  They stack easily and can go with you you any class or retreat.
