Drawstring Bag Class – Flash Monday

Description:
Join us for this quick and fun Flash Monday class where students will make a practical and versatile drawstring bag using the Drawstring Bag pattern by The Sewing Stage. This beginner-friendly project is perfect for gifts, organizing, or everyday use.

Students will complete a finished bag during class while learning smart construction techniques that improve both the look and durability of handmade bags. You’ll leave class with a completed drawstring bag and the confidence to make more at home.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to avoid bulky or saggy linings for a clean, snug fit

• A simple and effective technique for creating a drawstring casing

• The benefits of using larger seam allowances in bag making

Supply List:
The supply list will be provided when students register for class and is available prior to registration upon request. It includes all items needed for class.

Class Prep:
Most of our classes include some class prep completed at home before class. To make the most out of your experience, we appreciate if you come ready so we can jump right into sewing together.
