Wrap It Up! Fabric Bowl Class

Description:
Create a fun and functional fabric bowl in this beginner-friendly class. Using clothesline and fabric strips, students will learn how to shape and stitch a three-dimensional bowl entirely on the sewing machine. As the bowl takes form, you’ll see how fabric patterns shift and transform, making each finished bowl unique.

This class is a great introduction to working with non-traditional materials and dimensional sewing techniques. Students will leave with a finished bowl and the confidence to make more at home in a variety of sizes and styles.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to wrap fabric smoothly around clothesline

• How to form a three-dimensional bowl using a sewing machine

• How fabric patterns change during the bowl-making process

Supply List:
The supply list will be provided when students register for class and is available prior to registration upon request. It includes all items needed for class.

Class Prep:
Most of our classes include some class prep completed at home before class. To make the most out of your experience, we appreciate if you come ready so we can jump right into sewing together.
