Tuffet Class – 2 Part Workshop
Description:
Add a touch of charm to your home with a handmade tuffet! This two-session workshop is perfect for anyone looking to create a unique and stylish footstool with a quilted flair. Students will learn the techniques needed to create and assemble a beautiful 18" round tuffet that’s both functional and decorative.
During the first session, students will focus on foundation piecing techniques to create the tuffet cover. Kristen will guide you through the sewing process and help you complete as much as possible during class. Any remaining sewing will be finished at home before the second session.
In the second session, students will assemble the tuffet step-by-step and bring the project to life. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a completed tuffet ready to enjoy in your home or give as a thoughtful handmade gift.

- Foundation piecing techniques for constructing the tuffet cover
- Tips for organizing and assembling curved sections accurately
- How to prepare and finish your tuffet cover for assembly
- Step-by-step tuffet assembly techniques
Supply List:
The supply list will be provided when students register for class and is available prior to registration upon request. It includes all items needed for class.
Class Prep:
Most of our classes include some class prep completed at home before class. To make the most out of your experience, we appreciate if you come ready so we can jump right into sewing together.
