Beginning Sashiko Class – Coaster Class
Description:
Discover the art of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese running stitch embroidery technique, in this engaging beginner-friendly class. Led by Tammy Berry, students will enjoy a relaxing morning exploring the beauty and rhythm of Sashiko stitching while creating hand-stitched coasters.
Using pre-printed coaster designs created specifically for beginners, students will learn the fundamentals of Sashiko stitching in a supportive, hands-on environment. This class offers the perfect introduction to this centuries-old art form while building confidence with stitching techniques and pattern placement.
Beyond the basics, Tammy will share tips, tricks, and insights to help students refine their stitching and discover the versatility of Sashiko embroidery. With minimal supplies required, participants can easily immerse themselves in this relaxing and creative hobby.

Class Prep:
Most of our classes include some class prep completed at home before class. To make the most out of your experience, we appreciate if you come ready so we can jump right into stitching together.
