The Talise Tote Bag is a stylish everyday tote packed with practical features. With inside zip and slip pockets, a clasp connector to help keep everything secure, and fun accent details that let you personalize the look, Talise is as functional as it is beautiful.

Expert bag maker Ruth Thompson will guide you through the construction process while sharing techniques for creating a polished, professional-looking bag. You’ll work through several useful bag-making techniques that can be applied to future projects while building your confidence with more detailed bag construction.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to add a professional finishing detail with a zipper overlay

• How to attach binding to neatly cover the raw edges of a drop-in lining

• A simplified method for attaching a rectangular bottom to a rounded bag body

Supply List:
A minimum of 4 students is required for this class to be held. Once the minimum enrollment has been met, registered students will receive the class supply list so they can purchase supplies and complete any required class prep.

Class Prep:
Most of our classes include some class prep completed at home before class. To make the most out of your experience, we appreciate if you come ready so we can jump right into sewing together.
