Let the Quilt Minnesota 2022 Shop Hop Pre-Orders Begin!

Posted by Diana Wendorf on

Welcome to What's Up Wednesday!

The Eagle Brook Church sewing group is a great group of ladies who gather at the shop twice a month to sew for various charity organizations.  Here at Affinity they are known as the EBC Sewing Team.  During the last few months they have been making hats and mittens for the Hats & Mittens organization, which was founded by Rebecca Jorgenson Sundquist in 1996.  The Hats & Mittens organization collects hundreds of hats and mittens for homeless children in the Twin City area.  Just look at all the hats and mittens this group will be donating to this wonderful cause, and there were even more bags inside the shop.
Instead of the Elf Hunt we will continue the  White Bear hunt this Saturday.  Each Bear is assigned a number, and that number will relate to a prize.  Prizes still available after week two of our hunt are:
  • The holiday gift box
  • $50.00 Gift Certificate
  • 1 pack of Villa Rosa Pattern cards
  • 25% off purchase
  • 15% off purchase
  • 10% off purchase
  • Free Holiday FQ
  • Free current Villa Rosa pattern
  • (Quilt MN Fabrics are excluded from all discounts.)
Speaking of the new Villa Rosa patterns the December patterns have arrived.  Instead of the usual five new patterns we have seven for you this month.  We have added the new table-runner and placemat pattern for your creative enjoyment.
Do you have visions of Quilt Minnesota 2022 dancing in your head?  If so the Quilt Minnesota 2022 fabric is now available for pre-order.  Here at Affinity For Quilts we do not require a deposit for your order and the website (www.affinityforquilts.com) is set up with a $0.00 price for Quilt Minnesota fabrics and pre-cuts.  Payment processing will not begin until July 25, 2022.    You will find a complete price list of the Quilt Minnesota Fabric line in the description area of each fabric.  If you prefer to pre-order Quilt Minnesota 2022 fabrics in person just stop into the store and talk to any sales associate. The actual fabric will not be in store until June of 2022.
Love Lily by April Rosenthal for Moda Fabrics features a range of textures and patterns that will keep you entranced throughout your next project.  The popular floral pattern shares the spotlight with a confetti design in an array of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple - you name it!
If you are unable find an item you are looking for, talk to any team member and we will do our best to order it for you.

(the photo is optional)  The winner will be randomly selected on December 16, 2021 and will receive a $10.00 gift card to be used in store or online. Good luck to all who share!

COVID-19
COVID cases continue to rise in Minnesota.  We are requesting that all customers wear a mask, vaccinated or not.  Let's all do our part to put an end to this pandemic.  Affinity For Quilts staff will be wearing masks for your protection, as well as ours.   Just a heads up;  if  the COVID numbers continue to rise between now and January 3, 2022  a mask mandate will be put in place at Affinity For Quilts for everyone regardless of vaccination status.   This will include classes and clubs too.  We want to keep all of our customers and staff safe.

Bad Weather Store Closure Policy

While we strive not to close the shop sometimes mother nature has other ideas and we have to make the decision to close for everyone's safety.  This is just a reminder of the store closure policy here at Affinity For Quilts.
  1. We will post any notifications on Facebook.
  2. An e-mail will be sent to everyone who is a current subscriber on our list.
  3. Our website calendar will be update.
  4. If the weather is questionable and you are unsure if the shop is open please call before heading out.
