The Holiday Season is here!
We want to thank everyone who stopped in during The Over The River And Through The Woods Holiday Shop Hop.  As always it was great to see familiar faces and we truly enjoyed meeting all of the new quilters who visited our shop. 

The White Bear Lake Lions Club is collecting toys and non-perishable food items for families in need.  Affinity For Quilts has a bin set up for donations and would like to encourage people to stop into the shop with a new unwrapped toy or food donation for some special savings.  
  • 10% off Fabric purchase when donating a non-perishable food item. 
  • 15% off Fabric purchase when donating an unwrapped toy
  • 20% off Fabric purchase with donation of non-perishable food item and toy. 
Discount will also apply to pre-cuts and kits.  All Quilt Minnesota fabric is excluded from discounts. 

Mittens, hats, and scarves are also always welcomed.

Another fun sewing themed collection has arrived.  A Stitch in Time from Michael Miller fabrics is ideal for quilts, sewing machine covers, bags and more!
We continue to add to our 108" collection of great wide-backs.  Cosmos by Sarah Watts for Ruby Star Society from Moda Fabrics is a beautiful collection of three 108" wide fabrics. The colors, featuring a calming off white, striking black, and serene teal, offer the perfect backdrop to a unique depiction of the stars and space.

Affinity For Quilts Tip of the Week:  Does the foot pedal on your sewing machine like to run away from you?  If so just attach a piece of sand paper, or rubbery shelf liner to the bottom of your foot pedal to keep it from sliding.
