Welcome to What's Up Wednesday!

We hope everyone is staying warm!  This is the perfect weather to settle into your favorite chair and cover yourself with a cozy quilt while stitching on a binding.  It is also the perfect time to begin a new project and we have a couple of great new project samples to share with you this week.

Valentine's Day will be here before you know it and we have a fun quilt kit to mark the occasion Hugs & Kisses by the Whimsical Workshop is the perfect kit if you are looking for something a little less traditional.  The fabric line used for this quilt is From The Heart by Clothworks.  The finished piece measures 42" x 42" and kits are available for $65.99.

If you purchase this kit before February 14, 2022 you will be eligible to receive free quilting on your finished From The Heart project. Your name will placed into a drawing and the winner will be randomly selected on February 15, 2022.   We love our customers!

Being the dog lover that I am I could not resist making a quilt using the A Dog's Life fabric line from Clothworks.  The pattern we chose was Kalinda from Villa Rosa Designs and uses both panels, a charm pack, and some background fabric.  The finished piece measures 45" x 54" and kits are available for $49.99.
Happy Birthday! This exciting collection by Sarah Watts, from the Ruby Star Society for Moda Fabrics contrasts bright colors and black and white backgrounds to great effect.
Since we are on the topic of birthdays the Party Line fabric collection from Blank Quilting Corp is perfect to create fabric wrapping or gift bags for those special gifts given to your loved ones on their special day.
The Reign fabric collection was designed by Rashida Coleman-Hale from the Ruby Star Society for Moda Fabrics.  These fabrics are perfect for your favorite 3-Yard Quilt pattern and coordinate well with other Ruby Star Society fabric lines.
The Amazing Aliens fabric line is from Blank Quilting Corp. This is a whimsical glow in the dark alien collection.  The UFO panel features all the bright primary colors and the coordinating fabrics have all kinds of aliens, spaceships, flying saucers, and galaxy stars.

Classes and Events
Over the last couple months we have noticed that students who have signed up for a class, or club event,  are unable to join us on the day of the event and have not notified us of the change.   We understand that in these unusual times, things come up that are out of your control.  However, for most of our classes we have a wait list of people wanting to take classes.

In order to give everyone the opportunity to take classes we will be requesting payment at the time of registration.
If you need to cancel, we ask for notification 7 days prior to the class date so we can offer your spot to someone on our wait list and refund your registration fee.  Thanks so much for your understanding of this policy change and happy quilting everyone.
