Discover the art of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese running stitch embroidery technique, in this engaging, hands-on class. Led by Tammy Berry, an expert in the craft, students will enjoy a relaxing morning exploring the beauty and rhythm of Sashiko stitching.
Using a pre-printed coaster project designed specifically for beginners, participants will learn the fundamentals of this centuries-old art form. This class offers the perfect introduction to the basics of Sashiko — from creating even stitches to achieving beautiful, geometric designs.
Beyond the basics, Tammy will share her expertise through tips, tricks, and insights to help refine your stitching technique and inspire future projects. With minimal supplies required, you’ll quickly see how easy it is to bring Sashiko into your creative routine.

Most of our classes include some class prep completed at home before class. To make the most out of your experience, we appreciate if you come ready so we can jump right into stitching together.
